Eva Mordenheim

Eva Mordenheim resided in Lamordia in Schloss Mordenheim. She was the adopted daughter of Elise and Victor Mordenheim, taken off the streets by motives of compassion by Elise and for purposes of practicality by Victor. Victor callously saw Eva as mostly a tool, a friend for Adam to help him learn how to be socialized. Things did not work out that way. As relations between Elise and Adam began to degrade, Adam crept up to her window sill. Elise saw Adam taking the girl and attacked him. Adam seemingly tossed Eva off the cliff ledge, and she plummeted to the rocky shores below. Though her body went undiscovered, she was presumably deceased.

As Artista Juvenoth

However, in truth, she survived and now lives under the name Artisa Juvenoth, as indicated in [{Legacy of the Blood]]. Now with children of her own, Eva Mordenheim is married to Jervais Juvenoth, a fellow scientist and biologist. Although Eva is not related to Victor by blood, she absorbed enough of his work to become similarly (and perhaps sinisterly) attached to science. Her ambitious pride and lack of belief has alarmed her husband, for he is a believer in the gods.

One runs into problems when considering Eva's age. According to LotB, she is 30, and much more time has passed since Eva fell and Elise was mangled.
