Dr. James Symons is a minor character from Heaven's Bones. Now deceased, he was a physician and friend and colleague to Dr. Sebastian Robarts and a mentor to Bartholomew McPherson. In 1867 he failed to save Robarts' wife Margaret whom died from childbirth. By 1882, Symons is deceased.[1]
