A gifted surgeon, Dr. Cyrus Vannen uses amputation of limbs in order to fight the spread of the Rot from his patients. He failed too often to save people, including his fiance and nurse assistant, Verity DuClerk. Failing to save her, he thought to build her a new body from pieces of the deceased and created the dread flesh golem known Aggregate only to find that Verity was only one of many personalities. An eternal perfectionist, he now works only to find the best parts for his creation.[1] Suzanne Faronne is his assistant whom only seeks to use his knowledge for her own purposes.[2]
