A Weapon of Sacrifice^[1] can strike with blows that are especially effective against supernatural evil, but each swing costs some of the user's life force. In addition, they may compel the user to keep attacking when wiser choices are available.

Weapons of sacrifice were originally made by the outlander paladin Jax Stormguard, with the aid of a wizard and some kind of divine assistance. He created them for the sole purpose of tracking down and eliminating evil supernatural creatures.
