The victims of the Van Richten Curse were all former companions and loved ones of Dr. Rudolph van Richten. They perished in one way or another due to the fell influence of the curse laid upon the doctor by Madame Irena Radanavich in retaliation for the slaughter of her tribe.^[1] Many of the victims of this curse were captured by the ghost of Madame Radanavich and enslaved inside Richten Haus to become the the Night Spirits of van Richten Haus.^[2]
