The highway rider is a prestige class for the mounted highwayman whom performs acts of derring do in stealing from his quarry. Using both grace and guile, a highway rider plays a delicate balance between figure of romantic legend and an outright villain. The highway rider class first got its start in Lamordia and Dementlieu and flourishes in CL 9 domains where the pistol is readily available. Among his talents and abilities, a highway rider is highly knowledgeable of the roads traveled and is skilled at avoiding becoming Mist-led. A highway rider can depend upon a trusty mount, similar to that of a paladin.^[1]

• Alignment: Any non-lawful
• Base Attack Bonus +4
• Skills: Bluff (seduction) 6 ranks, Diplomacy 4 ranks, Ride 4 ranks
• Fears: Equestrian, Exotic Weapon Proficiency (pistol), Point Blank Shot, Mounted Combat
