The Ermenus cell is a cell of the Kargat, specifically the Corvian faction that serves under Beryl Silvertress. The cell is named for its [[leade]r], a vampire named Ermenus. The cell's territory includes the southeastern end of the Mountains of Misery, several settlements along the Dnar River and Nova Vaasa border, and the southern Darkonian coasts of the Nocturnal Sea. Highly secretive, the cell's official duties include rooting out dissident and traitors as well ensuring the loyalty of this mineral rich yet isolated area. in addition, the Ermenus cell is also tasked with dealing with unsanctioned dangers to the general populace in order to promote the development of the area. However, the cell engages in a number of unsanctioned criminal activities including smuggling and assassination. The cell's pawns include a immortality cult led by Ermenus, the performing group Red Passion, the mercenary group the Tooth-Slayers, and the bandit group known as the Charred Raiders.^[1]
