Demonic sawflies are evil, insect-like organisms that feed on blood. Although they are about the size of a human, they can shrink down to the size of a normal insect to conceal their natures. Demonic sawflies are not native to the Prime Material Plane, but rather they were inadvertently let into the world use use of black magic.^[1]

Demonic sawflies are native to the Isle, where Dr. Blake Ramsay has control over all of them.^[2] Demonic sawflies were never updated to 3rd Edition, so any creature types below are speculative.

Sawflies were originally presented in the Dragon Magazine article Formidable Visitants, but were reprinted for the House on the Edge of Midnight adventure.
