The Isle is a "large" island far off the shore of Mordent in the Sea of Sorrows where the Mists begin to take over. It is also a domain with Dr. Blake Ramsay as its darklord. The native people are afraid of Dr. Ramsay and his associates[2], but it is unknown if Dr. Ramsay is the temporal leader of the domain or not.
The Land
Preceded by only a small margin of shoreline, large cliffs surround the the interior on the Island's northwestern half. Beyond them towards the interior are lowlands that slope down into a dense and heavy forest of deciduous trees.[3] The native hunters conduct most of their deer hunting in the forests.[4]
Notable Geographic Features[5]:
The Folk
The natives of the Isle bear pale skin and wiry muscular frames. They adorn themselves with deer skin and use javelins to hunt. Raw displays of magic or other occult power can easily frighten them.[2]

- ↑ the House on the Edge of Midnight, Dungeon Magazine # 76, p. 12; Besides occurring before Mordent even became a domain, this date contradicts what is described on p. 10, where the module says he left "100 years ago". A House on the Edge of Midnight was published in 1999, at which time the current game year was 752 BC,
so perhaps this should be 652 BC, or perhaps Mordent had a different calendar back then.
