Chindi are malicious spirits native to Yatehcaa. They are formed from the spirits of dead Yateh (save for the very young or the very elderly. They are similar to ghosts, but can take the forms of animals, points of light, or dust devils. One of their special abilities is always the power to cause disease.[1]
