Bogeymen are malicious fey that feed upon the fear of their victims, typically children. In spite of their often terrifying powers, they are known to be both cowardly and highly spiteful; they typically prey on the weak and helpless, but will flee in a panic if they meet any kind of effective resistance - only to come creeping back later to get the worst revenge they can manage.[1]
