Currently located within the Black Vault, Bane's Adder[1] is a +2 magical arquebus that can fire shots from any number of material and bestows special properties upon its ammunition based on the material used. It was formerly owned by Bane (Mercenary) until his death at the hands of Azalin Rex
Origin
This weapon was wielded by Bane, an outlander mercenary sent by Strahd to murder Azalin Rex. The weapon was originally created by dwarves of some unknown outlander land.
Curse
If used by a dwarf, Bane's Adder will always misfire. If anyone uses this weapon against an opponent of the same alignment, the wielder suffers the same damage and special effects as the target.
