Armitage Avalon[1] (or as he is known by his stage name, Mr. Frost) is a Trouper among the Carnival. He was once haughty and callous young Dementlieuse nobleman. One day he refused to help a dying man in need of immediate assistance. This was his downfall, for the man was a secret agent of the Living Brain. The Brain's agents seized control of Avalon's holdings and chased him out of Port-a-Lucine. Luckily, he was able to escape the Brain's wrath with the help of Carnival. However, the Twisting made his emotional coldness physical: he is now continually surrounded by an aura of cold and shrouded in frost.
Armitage eventually reformed his callous ways thanks to some witches residing in Hala. His conversion to the Church of Hala has warmed up his disposition considerably.
