Note: Two of the playable PCs are true vistani of each descendent line, so was interesting how the race was handled. Summary: Doppelgangers are trying to infiltrate the village; they are using a ghost, the Wicked Man of the Wood, as a scapegoat for their mudering of rivals. When a troop of vistani come to town, the doppelganger leader, Rhelmus Orbthright, fears their gift of Sight would compromise his plans to taking over all of Dementieu. Four adventurers on the trail of the ghost come upon the Vistani camp and become embroiled in a murder. The Vistani are descendants of two siblings, Markov and Varisha, and when Markov is replaced by the doppelganger and kills Varisha, she puts a curse upon all his implicated family until the killer is dealt with to break the curse.

PCs are named Arla, Jack, Tirlas, and Rachel.

Note: Two of the playable PCs are true vistani of each line of descent, so it is interesting to see how the race is handled. The adventure does not follow the ravenloft timeline or is ahead of it, since the ghost was created from Vlad Drakov's dealings a hundred years ago in Ravenloft.[1][2]
