Sad to hear... :(

What else has he been in besides Dirty Dancing, Donny Darko and Road House?

I know he had a television series but beyond that I have little other reference for the mans career!

"Ghost" most notably. I remember him from "Red Dawn" as well.
I only wish I had retired sooner!

And for something completely different: "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar", where he played a drag queen (and a very pretty one too!).

In addition to dancing and acting, he recorded a song for Dirty Dancing -- "She's Like the Wind", inspired by his wife of many years.

Very sad to hear of his passing. :(

There was aDisney movie called Tall Tale where he played Pecos Bill. Might have made for some interesting fodder for Ravenloft. Gonna miss him.

So, gentlemen, that's how it is. Until Grissome.... resurfaces, I'm the acting president, and I say starting with this... anniversary festival, we run this city into the ground! :D

I guess I knew him mostly from North & South and Dirty Dancing, of course.

Funny to see I'm probably the first mentioning that series.

Don't forget The Outsiders. And not just him, but also Tom Cruise, C. Thomas Howell, Emilio Estevez, Matt Dillon, Ralph Macchio, Rob Lowe, and Diane Lane.

Oh, and I almost forgot about Uncommon Valor. I loved that movie.

I'd been meaning to catch the show me made last year called "The Beast", but I never managed to do it. It was a cop show, or something. I remember a report stating that he refused to take any pain meds during shooting.

Speaking of doppelgangers, I found Patrick Swayze and Kurt Russell to be very similar in appearance. I often was not sure who was starring in the given movie.

I'm sure I've often confused Kurt Russel for someone else, but then, I'm terrible with faces.
