Pretty funny title, but the story isn't funny at all.
I'd like to see more scans of the original comics, but this detailed synopsis is interesting. (Note: it's an Angelfire site, so you may need to cut-and-paste the URL, as sometimes Angelfire has problems with direct linking.)
Seems like it would be rife with unpleasant possibilities for a Ravenloft or Masque campaign, too.

Hi Brandi, Fraternity,
I read through the synopsises (is that a word) and it was pretty disturbing. Not sure if it is good material for ravenloft/Gothic earth. A bit too gritty and horrible. More splatter than horror.
yet there are elements which could be used well, the murder, torture and rape tuned down quite a bit.
I can see the ecnomic situation leading to exploitation of the poor, the poor fighting back or reaching for drugs setting work well. Sounds like falkovnia or the ghettoes of the gothic earth.

It slots almost too easily into Falkovnia-- Hyde-25 (under another name, I'd think) could just be yet another one of Herr Doktor Vjorn Horstan's attempts to create a "super-soldier serum", perhaps related to the primal serum in CotN: Werebeasts.
Other likely places for this stuff to surface would be Nova Vaasa (which already has a propensity to Jekyll-and-Hyde scenarios!) and Paridon (both for the vaguely-Victorian London setting and the presence of people skilled in High Alchemy, which this might be a by-blow of).
As for the gore/grit level, that's very much a YMMV thing-- I suspect there are folks out there who run Ravenloft much more in the feel of World of Darkness than the original feel, and if it works for them, great.
[Trvial aside: it's "synopses".
