Campaign Journal

Post by Teravala »

I was thinking it might be cool to have a live update campaign journal for the Hyskosa's Hexad adventure my group started last week. If I was to try to document their progress is that something I could find a space to do here somewhere? If so where would be the appropriate place and is that allowed? I am converting the module to 3.5, and would be happy to provide the monster stat blocks I am using as well as a list of changes that have been implemented as they develop. my reason for wanting to do so is twofold. One, I'd like to have access to the noted of their progress thus far available to the group, and it would encourage them to visit the site, which I think would be good for them overall, and secondly I would like to share their, and my, efforts with the community. If someone in a position of authority could chime in on this I would really appreciate it, as I don't want to step on any toes.

The Veranda part of the House is there for you.

We love to read other people's campaign!

I am also curious about this and am doing research on it. Can you give me some advice? Thanks.

Are you asking me for advice on the adventures or on where to post your own campaign journal?

I messaged the fraternity at large and got several helpful, albeit contradicting answers. The one that seemed easiest and most straightforward was to start it on the Ravenloft board and then when it is completed they will add it to the parlor for me. :)

You mean the Veranda :)

If you want us to host your journals there, you should submit them as documents.

Or you can also post them here, in a thread.

Or you can do the hybrid version, like I do: I post my journals in the Veranda, and have a thread here for discussions.

yeah my bad, i meant the veranda. lol. I think a hybrid of the two sounds perfect, now I just need some time to distill the campaign notes into something readable haha
