Monster Summoning/Encounter Tables by domain

Post by Isolde »

Do detailed Monster Summoning/Encounter Tables by domain exist somewhere, for 2e mostly since that is the foundational Ravenloft system? I do not ever remember if something existed but i recall that for the most part it was rather nothing.

Not only by domain but by domain theme (like a werewolf or vampire etc ruled domain or an egyptian themed one) if we want to get more utilitarian. :|

The MCs only had lists of creatures to include from other settings but not Monster Summoning/Encounter Tables by domain or thematically. :|

There was ... something somewhere in the 3e books about it. Mist outsiders could be summoned everywhere. Monsters from the domain's list of wandering monsters could be summoned. But perhaps I remember wrong.

You can use 3e Gaz lists of monster for each domain as a list of what can/cannot be summoned in each domain.
