Florian will try a straight-up Spot check for the house's exterior, looking for other ways to get in. (Ground floor doors, basement staircases, promising windows over ledges, and whether the top floor has any ornaments that look like they can take a rope and climber.)

He's being fairly open about it, not like he's trying to hide it from his colleagues. If he's challenged, he'll wave it off as architectural interest.

He has no ranks in it, so it's a straight d20 +1 for his Wis. I leave it to the DM to make the roll. The DM can do as he pleases - it might be fun for you to make a post in the actual game thread as Florian's inner monologue, telling him what he sees in the form of a stream of consciousness description.

If you do decide to do this, remember that Florian is genuinely curious and inquisitive, while also being fairly focussed on the bottom line of profit.

He also has a fairly rakish mind and will probably think about wenches and stuff quite often. Just so you know.

Any doors he finds, he'll seriously think of picking the locks.

Hey! Here's where my lack of experience in PbPing comes in (And I'm really sorry about that

, if the answer is some kind of RtFM, please tell me where to find the info)! How do we make the rolls and such? Are we using a program, or just rolling the dice and our DM is trusting on us telling the truth?

Generally I roll the dice for you all, but I also generally trust you all to be fair about the roll. For the most part Play by posting is a lot more about RP than systems so that is the guiding line. Or at least that is how I do it.

There are play by post boards that allow rolling but this is not one of them LOL...

), but I tried to leave Melissa in a condition that allowed you to keep the story going forward without her intervention (She's passed out). I know it was a little too dramatic, but, you are already starting to know her... Such a drama queen!

I'm back from my honeymoon, and I just loved Rio de Janeiro. Now I'm getting back to RL (A completely new RL). Should we keep this game moving?
