Glad to hear it! Now, while I'm helping clarify little things, let's give folks a little hint while I'm wrapping up the text for the Sea of Sorrows thread:

Sweet! Nothing like a little Core-shaking event to bring the party together. (Most people would just take a boat or something, but you know what they say: "if you can't bring the Saint and Spymaster to Saragoss... ")

Hoo boy, now that's gonna be entertaining. Heck, Cortez may have so many ex-Saragossan pirates to track down he could be the first-ever outlander to *want* to stay in Ravenloft. Of course, that's assuming we'll find ourselves able to just get out - this is Ravenloft, after all, just because two things are next to each other on the map doesn't necessarily mean you can get there from here....

Of course, that's assuming all our boats don't sink and Cortez's whole crew doesn't die...BTW, Nathan, as far as body-count goes, I should point out just killing all of Cortez's followers comes very nearly to a thousand deaths by itself. Come to think of it, you guys could probably figure out Cortez's leadership scores at this point and see just exactly how many followers it is - so there's some number-crunching for you to work on.

Whoa now. I guess Ravenloft will never be the same, huh? In all kinds of ways.

BTW, how are we to read this map, DS? Does Saragoss extend right up to the shore, sargasso weed and all? Does Saragoss extend up to the shore, but with only a part of it now being a sailor's graveyard and the rest being open water? Or is there an extent of open water which is part of some other domain, with Saragoss proper confined to the southwest?

Well, there was some concern in the last poll that things in the Core are fun to hear about, but they don't affect the PC's. This might help those folks understand a little better. While I don't plan on the PC's following in the footsteps of 'S,' I do hope to tie in as much as possible. I've now tied in Tessius' sidetrek to the Nightmare Lands and leaving his gear there, and Tessius and Balin getting lost in the Mists. Hmm...what else is left to tie in?

Nope, and I'm not done, neither. Never liked the boxed set version of TNL (grumble)

Exact details are yet to be revealed, and some very exact details have yet to be decided. Keep speculating, it stimulates my creativity.

Six, obviously. :P

Well, there's the impromptu revolution that Peregrine started in Borca (though I'm still waiting for Nostalia to put in another appearance, that'll help. And hey, now that the seas have been rearranged it should be a little quicker to get from Mordent to Saragoss.) and then there's also this mysterious place that Arcadius washed up on. Poor Arcadius, he should've just hung around and waited for Saragoss to come to him...

Haven't heard from Gurhoron or Fuzzball for a while. You two still out there?

 I'm sorry. I haven't had anything to say and I don't think Gurthoron had any idea what to respond. I'm still following along though.
"Okay Mark, it's your turn. What do you do?"

"I commit suicide."

:) Thanks! I have the Psionic HB for 3e by now, so I guess that things will definitely get better. I'll post such a character board like Nathan and Matt around Christmas, btw.

BTW, since I take that the character sheets are more suggestions than actual descriptions of our powers, am I free to rebuild Anders at my will, like adding new powers and removing those I find less usable etc? :)

Careful! Is it the 3.0 one, or the 3.5 one? There's a lot of differences between them, they changed Psionics a bunch between the two editions.

Me I usually use the d20srd.org site for everything here anyways, because it saves having to get out the books, and if I'm posting here I'm already at the computer after all.

Oh, that's not true at all! Reckonings is pretty unusual in this, I think, but everything is strictly by the book. For example, Peregrine has two ninth-level spells (that's a hint for his character sheet, btw) and he's used both, so he gets no more until tomorrow. If it ain't on the character sheet, you can't do it.

Large sections of Peregrine's and Cortez' character sheets are blank because we weren't obligated to reveal them to the other PCs, just to DS, so we started a "guessing game" using the information revealed in-game to figure out what each other's abilities and items are. All the blank spots have been filled in--they just haven't been revealed publicly.

DeepShadow will have to say, of course; at this point, probably not, but since he's now your PC you might get some latitude to fiddle with things (especially the items, most of which haven't been used and some of which are, IMHO, not very useful).

Nathan's right about this being strictly by the book, but because you're a new player I'm willing to let you change anything about Anders that hasn't been revealed in the story yet.

And because I realize how daunting it would be to track down everything that's been said about Anders over the past couple years, I'll create a thread for Anders' character sheet and invite the other players to put their treasure hunt methods to good use.
