Found something in Dragon Magazine

I was just flicking through my copy of Dragon #264 when I accidentally stumbled upon an article called "Van Richten's Legacy", dealing with a cult of Ancient Dead worshippers composed of male members of Renier family. I know this is probably old news, but is this cult still valid? Or has it been ignored, but not retconned? Also, what other Dragon issues have articles directly relating to Ravenloft, ala this Van Richten's Legacy article I just found?
