I know I've posted in this thread three times, so I'm really sorry if I'm over doing this topic. After this, I'll shut up
.
I had an idea. We don't have enough on boats, right? Now it isn't a priority, but it would also be nice if the next Gaz was fairly sequencial with the last one.
How about a Gaz that pairs together both the Sea of Sorrows and Blaustein? The story could be that the Fraternity is using the aid of some, say, pirates to do some exploring around the core. This way, we have both something to work with (the information done on Blue beard) and a wide open space for us to fill. The last Gaz played a lot with Cannibalistic corporeal undead, Voodoo, and swamps. How about a Gaz with the influence of Pirates, arrrr! Now that would be cool.
And (not that it makes a huge difference) if I may recall, part of Lousiana's french heirtage has its due to pirate resistance (Stygian...care to elaborate...
).
Blaustein itself is essentially one giant port, and so it naturally goes hand in hand with studying the sea of sorrows as well.

+I think cabbage is onto something here. I like the idea of pirates and of course, privateers!

In QtR Issue 9 (The issue all about aquatic aspects of Ravenloft) these is an article all about piracy in Ravenloft written by none other than ScS.
Information seems to come my way whether by chance or by fate, but all this means, is that I have yet to find out what will kill me and why. - The Stygian Inquirer

Great Idea! I'd like to see more corsairs, pirates and swashbuckling action in Ravenloft...of course with the usual twist.Boccaccio Barbarossa wrote:+I think cabbage is onto something here. I like the idea of pirates and of course, privateers!

By the way if we are entitled to issue seeral votes, I give a second one for the Amber Wastes!

To the Fraternity: I believe you guys should start a real poll, with the bars etc.

Well this thread isn't a scientific, statistically accurate poll.
We just want to know what domain have the preferences, and why.

My votes then
1) Shadowborn Cluster
2) House of Lament
3) Frozen Reaches
I guess.... I don't know if any domain in the core was left undetailed by the gazetteers, and I don't quite recall the Islands and Clusters that exist. But these three are definitely things that interest me.

As a tie, i would say the frozen reach, the shadowborn and the Amber Waste (I like harsh environnement and the shadowborn cluster seem to have a great history of fallen knight).
I would like to see the sea,not to complete the core, but to see more pirate and naval action. I think that the nocturnal sea with Darkon and Nova Vaasa could bring a lot of naval action. And with his difficultie to navigate the nocturnal sea could be the location of many secrets or surprise. Im curious about Vechor too, how a classical civilisation developexist along the core medieval one???
The saragoss sea could perhaps go out into thye nocturnal sea too by a mistway.

My vote goes for the Amber Wastes, followed by the shadowborn cluster.
I personally don't think the "Shining Bay" needs a greater look at this time, due to the two adventure that detail paridon and timor quite well, and I don't think we should tinker with its official configuration (i.e. Paridon and Timor without nosos), as the overall hope of these books is to expand the official without interfering with it to the extent where it becomes useless, after all that’s why the shining bay is a called an alternate version just like Verbrek from QtR1 not an offical version.
