Perhaps Steve Miler is right when he say they are possibly renegociating the contract. It is now 5 years since the start (early 2001 when the writers started) (and contracts are ususally built with a 5 year span)
But this said, it doesn't explain why WW doesn't anounce this year's book. *sigh*

Oh yeah, maybe they took my letter saying *Just fire the DD and let DAISY do the line* a bit too seriously and now DD is dead and locked in their basement...Joël of the Fraternity wrote:Perhaps Steve Miler is right when he say they are possibly renegociating the contract. Before we become pessimistic and depressed, I would like to say that we are in the middle of summer (where people generaly works less) and there are 5 1/2 months left until 2006.
So no Ravenloft product for 6 1/2 months (the last one was 2 months ago) with summer vacations interfering doesn't mean no Ravenloft product again . . .
Also perhaps the company or the developers or the authors or someone else in all this found that things in VRGttMists needed fixing. So instead of publishing a book with many errors hastily corrected they may have decided to hold it back for sometime.
I know the last is a slim chance but we can't be sure.
PS. I'm not accusing anyone for sloppy work in my speculation above. When I say "slim chance" I don't mean that "books are usually full of errors and nobody is interested to correct them". I mean that probably the book was good enough to start with and doesn't need 3 more months editing, so my speculation is probably wrong.

The only times I ever have received responses on that forum was when I emailed the monitor directly and asked him for one. Most recently, I asked if they would reply to Charney's request for information on how they generate the Best Sellers list and they replied on the board the next day.Wiccy of the Fraternity wrote: I have never received a reply on the SSS forums, so I gave up posting on them.
