geography of Kartakass - rivers and lakes

Post by brothersale »

hi, i've just been going throught the Kartakass chapter of RGI, and have ended up stumped. Whats the name of the two lakes along the Kilovan river (near Skald and Harmonia)? And whats the name of the other river and lake that feeds the Musarde in Kartakass ( i know its not the black heart but i can't find any other lake mentioned in the chapter)? please help me out on this

I think that those things that you say are lakes near Skald and Harmonia are actually just wider areas of the river that are used for milling because as you noted, they are conveniently close to the only two settlements. See the bottom of page 87 and the top of page 89. Also, I think that the lake that feeds the Musarde is merely a delta.
Information seems to come my way whether by chance or by fate, but all this means, is that I have yet to find out what will kill me and why. - The Stygian Inquirer

ok i'll go for the fact that the two lakes on the Kilovan are oxbow lakes (quick formed lakes caused by the shifting of the river), but the other lake can't be a delta (they are only at the ends of a river where it forms a "v" shaped mass of rivers, Souragne has one) and that still dosen't tell me what the river is called, i mean from the look on the map its not exactly small either and has been their since the domain creation (its shown on the FoG map).

Here, this might be useful. The lakes aren't named on it but the rivers are.
