I get as far as ? = sqrt ((2mx^2)(V(X,?) - i)/d), but, really, if she doesn't know the definition of the function V(x,y) then I don't see how EBU#12 can solve the equation any further than that.

It's a trick question! The Hamiltonian in that equation is a niche pop culture riddle telling her to do a rap about the American Revolution.

If she does manage to solve the equation, I might have to see about getting a refund on my master's degree. Clearly they were teaching me in the slowest way possible, and ignoring the valuable educational resource of giant bug attacks.
