Don't worry about kits. Take two slots of General NWPs for free.
Don't worry about weapon proficiencies. If it's on the class list, he can use it. Single-class fighters may choose one free specialization.
No psionics.
Stick to PHB mostly and you should be good.
No evil alignments.

We won't start until the roster fills up.
It may be the Ravenloft game is taking up all free time for some players. Or general interest for this game may not be high just now.

We'll see how much interest it attracts.
And Ravenloft is still going strong, of course.
I've updated that one again.

I really don't like random generation systems, but I enjoy your campaigns. If there's a spare place I'll join, and if I roll up a halfwit stammerer I can always quietly drop out.

Interesting.
There's also a 2nd level human female thief available, if you are interested. Former PC, player retired.

I don't find any of those sets especially interesting to be honest.
Does the ex PC have an already established personality?

Yes and no.
She was supposed to be a spunky burglar girl who was in it for the kicks and out of loyalty to her half-brother.
Basically a lovable rascal.
There wasn't a lot of character development in the last caper.
She's also a teenage girl, and just went through a pretty rough adventure that may have left her disillusioned. Or inspired.
You can shape her.
I'd say the salient features are:
close to her half-elf sibling
dislikes killing (Not that she's a pushover--but she's a burglar, not an assassin)
more interested in adventure than in just getting rich, but nonetheless has quite a keen eye for loot (actually has a looting NWP!)
likes fishing, comfortable on a boat

I'm in for the game. When do you plan to start it Ewan? I still need to update Tom's character sheet though.
