The first story in the Adventurers League season -- "Suits of the Mists" by Shawn Merwin -- is now available for purchase on the DMs Guild!

There's a separate digital map pack for online gamers, too.

Somewhat back on topic, my next Ravenloft supplement is live on the DMsguild:

Children of the Night

I'm excited to share the work I did making this book and happy to get the monsters out to the larger public.
(And alhoon, whose name should be on the credits, but totally slipped my mind, so next time I do an update I'll have to add him. Sorry, my bad.)

Can I add stuff to the netbook and then you can transfer them there? Cause I had a few ideas.

And perhaps you could add me in the product page where you mention the FoS? That wouldn't require editing the product itself. :)

If I may ask, are there new stuff in the DMGuild document that are not in the google document?

Sure.
I don't want to add too many, in case someone prints.
I might eventually do a darklords book though.

That's the plan when I get a minute.

I gave things an editing pass and did some tweaking, but most of the content is in the Google docs IIRC.

Oh... do you need help with that?

I might do a similar Google docs approach.
The catch is I still need to be the primary writer, since I'd be financially benefiting from the product. I don't want to be paid for someone else's hard work, or them not to be paid....

Look at it from a different viewpoint: I'd be doing just a couple of darklords and those being those I like to make. And when the setting benefits we all benefit.

A certain "Andrew Pavlides" has been credited on the product, both in the file and as a searchable author credit.

oh... thanks. :)

Wow! Front page stuff! I'm honored. I ... didn't really help that much from what I see there to get a front page reference. A thank you in the second or last page would have been sufficient. You're very kind.

I love the DMs Guild releases, but is it possible to get a printer-friendly version of each one?

So, what is the legality/ethics of submitting an adventure or using a person, place, or thing we have previously had published in QTR?

I have my personal opinions but I'll let the Frat answer that.

Jester! I wanted to give you a quick heads-up that the full preview of Children of the Night isn't working as of Saturday 4/16.

I received this error message: The requested URL /pdf_previews/179779-sample.pdf was not found on this server.

What is your personal opinion, out of curiosity? Not an author using someone else's creation, but their own, mind?

the front matter legal notice of QtR says this:
"All articles or artwork are the property of their respective writers"

So if you want to use your own stuff elsewhere, that's fine with us, HOWEVER, I believe the dmsguild has their own rules that disallows republishing. HOWEVER, HOWEVER, my understanding is that this refers only to the actual file, not the characters or situations therein. This is probably a very wiggly line, but if you were to, for example, take your whole QtR article and publish it as is on dmsguild, they might ask us to remove the article from the issue we have hosted here. We REALLY don't want to do that, so please don't. HOWEVER, HOWEVER, HOWEVER, as of yet, we haven't had much 5e content in QtR, so the chances that any article would be eligible for dmsguild without conversion is slim, and if there's conversion, then we're probably in the clear...
