Death Unchained-Well of Bones Map

Post by jimjams »

Does anyone know if there exists and map that is easier to understand. I hope I'm not looking at it like a backward yochlol (See what I did there?) If anyone can help me make sense of it i'd greatly appreciate it.

I can see it's a confusing map, where precisely are you struggling?

It's where each of the passages intersect with the "Well". I don't have a complete map as its only on pdf and therefore "in pieces"

What I do is copy and paste the map pages onto a paint file so I can see them all at once, it's not perfect because the map hasn't been scanned properly, there are bits missing from the edges of each page AFAIK, and the file is quite large (mine is about 5.3 MB) but it makes it easier to make sense of it

Well... I ended up not using all those intersections when the authors put them. It even says in the adventure you can change the layout so that it represents what you want.

I used a 1d12 to figure if the random alcove the PCs checked actually had a secret door and all I needed to know was what level the PCs were looking. I lengthened some corridors for the passageways to make sense.

That's why we're here for buddy. And the undying of us will be here until a powerhungry meddling group of adventurers kills us to steal our treasure, pretending it's to stop us from doing evil.

PS. I also used paint to get all the pieces together.

Windows comes complete with a program called "snipping tool" that can copy a section of screen, so you can throw them in paint or a free image program.

Adobe also has a tool called snapshot with similar functionality.
