Re: MARKET PLACE: Ravenloft's interesting auctions and links
Score! I got the patches from the UK for US$27 shipped. The German one went for US$11.77. Great deal! Jester, did you get it? Hope so....
Anyone want a Dark Sun patch? Hopefully I can ebay it for about half the total...
BTW, I didn't want to mention it before the auctions ended, but the last one we saw went for $51, which is what I considered "pricey"....

Nah, it's more like a nicotine patch. When I get it and put it on, it will ease my cravings... for ALL THE RAVENLOFT THINGS! (OK, maybe just my cravings for a Ravenloft Patch...)Zilfer wrote:Why does it plug into my head when in this topic "The Patch" I keep thinking Birth Control......

Sadly no. I got pulled away from my computer to do some Christmas shopping and sit my son on Santa's lap, and someone snagged them while I was gone.Gonzoron of the FoS wrote:Score! I was hoping to get back before the close but had a time zone fail.

The german one went for under 10 €, and the UK auction was for 2 patches and went for under $20, so uh maybe you'll have to chew the hat a little at least...Gonzoron of the FoS wrote: If either of these stay under $10, I'll eat my Ravenloft hat. D'oh! I was so paranoid that I'd forget, I set a bunch of alarms. And then against my better judgement, bid an hour or so before the last minute, just to make sure I got my bid in. Was afraid I'd get sniped, but thankfully, didn't.Jester of the FoS wrote:Sadly no. Well 10 € is a little bit more than $10, and I'll assume that the Ravenloft patch was 60% of the value of my 2 patch lot and Dark Sun only 40%, because I'm biased. I'll let you know what happens when I re-sell the DS one. That said, if Jim wants to send that hat over here for some nibbling, I won't object. I just might not send it back. The Giamarga wrote:The german one went for under 10 €, and the UK auction was for 2 patches and went for under $20, so uh maybe you'll have to chew the hat a little at least...Gonzoron of the FoS wrote: If either of these stay under $10, I'll eat my Ravenloft hat. The good news, Jester, is that the $51 patch seems to have been an anomaly and not the new normal. Hopefully when the next one comes up, you'll catch it. (and now I just need the 2 pins, the dicepouch, the hat and the shirt...)

The dicepouch is on my wishlist also.
I only wish I had retired sooner!

Well, if anyone wants the Dark Sun patch, I threw it back into the ebay waters:

The Ravenloft one is now adorning my shelf:

har, har. I just took it straight from my phone. On my computer, it comes in big, but then shrinks to fit the screen. Is that not the case on other browsers maybe? (I use chrome). If it's being big and obnoxious, I can shrink it.Vorcoth wrote:I dunno, I still can't quite make it out. Could you blow it up a little?

I'm at work on a wide screen so it fits the widescreen computer just fine.... I was just joking that it was larger than most pictures. Nothing wrong with it on my end though.
Edit: on another note.... i see Audio Book I, Strahd!!!!!!!
I repeat..... !!!!!!!!!!!
What foul magician's library is this!? I must spirit myself to this location for no doubt there are foul sorcerer's to be learned and dire secrets.
