Hello all!
Good to see that some people still read my campaing journals.
At this point in time we played about every two weeks for a short evening. Later on I moved a little further away and we played about once a month for a long evening.
Herman is played by a fantastisch roleplayer, who played Herman like a total romantic. He was glad to have something for himself and did not want to let go of the fantasy he had of Samantha. Rather Sad really. And Velouria player was wonderful as well, really playing the teenaged Velouria like a teenager.
Teh campaign went on until november 2012, that was 6 years of solid roleplaying with this group. So you can expect at tleast another two chapters, maybe a third.
In october 2012 I got the Pendragon campaign for my birthday, so a pendragon campaign started in january 2013. With most of the same players. And that is shaping up to become very gothic was well. You can read about it here (dutch language) http://jenniemeid.blogspot.nl/2013/02/pendragon-i.html
Kind regards,
Jennifer

Re: My second campaign
Hallo All,
I see chapter 9 has been added to my campaign journal. Not too exciting, a romp through howls in the night. A bit too low level for the powerful party now.
I'll start working on chapter 10, in which terrible things just keep happening.
Kind regards,
Jennifer

Hello all,
It has been some time since I posted here. But chapter 10 of my second campaign is available in the veranda.
SPOILER
In this part the paladin dies, horribly ( of course!). And this has some profound effects on the other party members. This was one of the best episodes, since the paladin keept the rest on the straight and narrow. And Now the forces of evil will really play havoc with the rest.
Enjoy!

Well done at the Crystal Club! It's tough to strike that balance of horror and restraint. Well played by your players, it seems, for being willing to party it up, and then willing to blame their own uncertainty on the drinks and decor.
Heehee... do I detect a bit of influence from my own journal? I petition to officially name the girl from Radaga's slab as Clara. It's in your journal, it's in my journal, it must be true.
What an interesting perspective on the role of the paladin and intra-party conflict. I often feel that the presence of a paladin (or other super-good character) actually creates more conflict, as every bit of subterfuge the others come up with must either pass the inspection of, or be hidden from, the police of the party.
What an interesting twist of fate, with Angus taken over by Daglan! Finally, a way to have Daglan have some actual influence on the adventure, rather than just sit in the crown as a plot device.
I'm sad to see them miss out on the trip to Dr. Dominiani's. Was this a deliberate cut? or just the way their role-play went.
What a cliff-hanger to end on! Will there be more to come soon?
