Re: The Nightingale - OOC
Heh, my name Zilfer I thought I made up means "Silver" in German.
Nigaru means "Run Away" in japanese.
if you search for it, almost every name has been used somewhere some how. Cadseem (I swear i made that up... i didn't realize.... "Cadseem and the forty thieves". Then I thought when someone told me that... i was like couldn't be spelt the same. XD)
Original ideas are slim to none!

Alvin Maker, yeah.
A backwoods magic man would be cool.
Oh, or maybe you could go full on Gothic?

Hello
I was thinking of playing a ranger with a mind for the Detective prestige class. It could be cool to have an investigative team! I'm looking at the Mordent back country for my origin unless it conflicts.

The Detective class calls for a Lawful alignment though. That could be a limiting factor. I've been trying to think of how I'd handle various situations in character.

Raf, if you don't get 5 peoples, I'll try out for the 5th spot. Otherwise all is good

Contemplating gnomishness (rest of concept to stay the same)...

That could work. Or I if do I stick with human, a gnomish partner would be welcome.
PM me to discuss further...

Hehehe, glad the response was so friendly!
It's been a while since I ran Ravenloft, but it's still something I enjoy tremendously.
I loved the LFC, and all my other projects, but it's nice to do something completely different for a change.
One of the things my players usually tell me is that I don't do much *real* horror.
Well, we will see with this one.
Play whatever characters you like to play.
