Jonathon Alone
Jon moves across the island by night, leaping and wriggling over the stony terrain. His prey is not far; the stink of their fear fills his nostrils.

Delight is to him- a far, far upward, and inward delight- who against the proud gods and commodores of this earth, ever stands forth his own inexorable self.

Jonathan Maytr looks down at his hands, inspecting the lines there and feeling disoriented. He continues forward, stalking his enemies.

He sees the light of a lantern or torch ahead, in the old stone ruins.

Jonathan draws his silver knife, the one he has used on so many others, and holds it before him. He stares at the smooth finish and knows that soon it will taste blood and again know Justice.

A crunch in the dry grass to Jon's left alerts him to a man drawing near. The man holds up a torch and scans the darkness.
"'Hello? Who's there? Mikel, is that you?"

Jonathan allows the change to wash over him, doing his best to remain quiet and undetected.

Jon bites his lip to keep silent as his body contorts, stretches, and shifts.
The man with the torch draws near the low stand of grass where Jon hides. His unshaven face looks bone-pale in the moonlight.
"Hello? Hello?" He reaches for a hunting knife at his belt...

Jon leaps for the mans throat, attempting to tear it out and silence him at the same time.

Warm blood fills Jon's mouth as his teeth clamp over the man's windpipe.
Only a strangled hiss escapes the man's throat as he slumps to the hard ground.
