The Planar Handbook
Very good book. I think that it nicely complements the MoP. But in Sigil's history it doesn't mention Die, Vecna, Die!, strange.

No modrons, but we do get Bariaur (again, so that's one appearence here, one in the MoP and one in the BoED), Shadowswyfts (plane-touched with shadow), Neraphim (sorta PC Slaad), Mephlings (PC Mephit race), Assimar and Tieflings, Spikers (PC bladelings), Buommon (Silent, singing Astral humaniods), Wildren (half badger/dwarf things) and Savage Species rules for Avorals, Kytons, Hound Archons, Janni and Lillendi.

Good to know, Drinnik, although I was rather disappointed with Manual of the Planes. Not a bad book, but it didn't cover things as well as I had hoped that it would. Perhaps, the Planar Handbook will fill in some of those gaps.Drinnik Shoehorn wrote:Very good book. I think that it nicely complements the MoP.
I was thinking somewhat the same thing, Coan, but there are some good deals on eBay. I was able to buy a copy at a little more than half the price. While the material might not cover the aspects that I had hoped it would, there are still many things that might be worth having (especially at a reduced price).Coan wrote:I'm gonna go out on a limb here and not buy this book.

Actually, from the sounds of things on the Wizards of the Coast message boards, modrons are being written out of the D&D cosmology. It looks like the authors are using formians and inevitables to populate Mechanus instead.Charney wrote:Did they bring back our beloved Modrons from the grave?
