Nice adventure hook

Post by Kessler »

I stumbled upon a nice Ravenloft theme anime, rather old (so maybe some of you have already seen it), that is simply great and can also be a good adventure hook.

Rodrigo Blaas, "Alma".
P((hρ (A)- ρ/<έ) →n-∞1 (∑>0)
P(x=k)=(n/k)ρk(ˇ1-ρ)n-k
P(x≥1)=(10/1)•(1/6)•1(1-1/6)10-1+…1
+(10/10) : (1/6)10(1-1/6)0

Very cool! I was expecting a quick shot of Alma (the child) walking out of the shop with strange, jerky movements.

Very nice, thank you for the hint.

Creepy, in theme, and so familiar in a certain way :?

Yup, then I expected to see a girl approaching the store looking just like the new doll. But I guess the implication is there.

Very nice. Thanks!

Creepy... as... ****! o_o I can see something like this happening in Odiare, as part of an experiment by some dark agency.

A few other movies that have been doing the rounds on these forums:

Jonathan Coulton: Creepy Doll

The story is pretty cool and the song is done in a lighthearted scary sort of way. Could easily be adapted to make it more horror-based.

The Open Doors: Adapted from a Saki short story.

Sintel the Dragon: A less-traditional story about a friendship between a dragon and a human.
