Goren is close to Zumba and the monster that just took a swing at Goren. Zumba could benefit from some healing, I think. The rider is 70 feet away at this time.

For thrown objects there is a slight difference. In damage, you add Str bonus. For the attack roll, I think you still add Dex, yes.
