Didn't Isolde always lead the Carnival?

You see, if you hadn't turned your back on the God-Brain, you would know these things . . . .

She saved and adopted the troopers in Darkon, as I recall, but they saved themselves and escaped from their place of origin, which used Carnival as a dumping ground/punishment for transgressors.

I think this is all recapped in the Carnival sourcebook, if I recall correctly.

They fled into Darkon and during the great upheaval fled to Falkovia where Isolde rescued them .
History is covered in the Carnival book and Champions of Darkness.

Alhoon, get yourself the novel !

It's available for under a dollar on half.com and it's a great source for the early history of the Carnival. In fact this novel inspired the RL Carnival sourcebook in the first place.

Hey... Isn't there a PDF of it for me to buy? Only in dead tree form, where I have to pay delivery fees to Greece and wait for weeks?

Ah, you're European. That rules out half.com then.

Try bookfinder. Under 6 Euro including postage to Greece. Or hit the local used book stores... Or buy lot of several novels off of ebay.com to save on postage.
