Zordenahkt[1] was a powerful priest of the Black Land whom lusted after one of Pharaoh Khamose's wives, a woman named Tiyet. After he discovered Tiyet's framing Khamose's then Grand Wife Nufreri of adultery, Zordennahkt blackmailed her into entering into an affair with him. Given time, and her disillusion from her husband, Tiyet somehow began to return Zordenakht's love. But guilt eventually began to overtake her, and she had a nightmare of judgement in the here-to-come. She pled with Zordenahkt for a ritual to allow her to escape her fate, but he denied her, uncertain of what he would do.

Later, when Khamose discovered Tiyet's betrayal, Tiyet flew into a panic, and begged Zordenakht once more. He once against turned her wish away, so she committed suicide, asking for Apophis's forgiveness. Overtaken, Zordenakht performed the ritual of reanimation to turn her into one of the ancient dead, before poisoning himself and joining her in death, though not undeath.
