Yami Shinpi

Yami Shinpi is one of the four sons of Haki Shinpi remaining alive, the others being Yake Shinpi, Yoku Shinpi, and Yugami Shinpi. Their rivalries are tearing their father's former empire of Rokushima Táiyoo apart in civil war. Haki Shinpi, now only an ineffectual geist, can now only watch on from the shadows.[1]

Noncanon Information

Yami Shinpi disappointed his father by becoming an abjurer.Not only was his son a wizard instead of a warior but he was one that focused on defense instead of smiting his enemies. He considered him a complete coward which is very incorrect. He simply believes that the best way to take the battle to the enemy is to make yourself as invulnerable as possible before you rain destruction on them. His second most common spell school in his spell book is evocations which his father never noticed. After entering Ravenloft he started to get more and more interested in transformation and enchantment spells and started conducting foul experiments trying to create the ultimate warrior bound to his will. He got the idea from a book that was brought in by the Dark Powers and placed in his large library. So far his experiments have had mixed sucess. He has managed to bind some to his will and to transform some as he liked but he hasn't managed to do both at the same time yet. He is the ruler of Mababeiu
