The Skeleking is the ruler and darklord of an underground city comprised of sentient skeletons. These skeletons view living creatures with flesh as skeletons captured in fleshy prisons and seek to liberate their trapped kindred. Excursions into the surface are made to recruit new citizens. The Skeleking is not actually one of the undead himself, but instead a living human wizard with invisible flesh, blood, and internal organs. He keeps his true nature (and biological needs) a secret from his subjects.[1]
