Talanka is a hamlet (pop. 100) in Darkon that lies halfway in between Rivalis and Martira Bay. It is the setting for the Child of the House module. It is afflicted with a curse that demands sacrifice of a child twice per year to the House on Undral Hill, once on the spring equinox and the fall equinox. They are claimed by the spirit of Alara Undral, the last of the Undral Family and a person everyone had refused to help when her own children went missing years before. The curse has afflicted the town for one and a half decades.[1]
