Princess Rosenbriar is the daughter of King Drosselbart and princess of the Kingdom of Fairhafen. Just as she was becoming old enough to rule in place of her deceased father, she fell victim to a bizarre charioteering accident that left her unconscious. In reality, Queen Avarein, her step mother, arranged for the young woman to die so that she could maintain her status as queen of the domain. The Princess has been placed in a nearly invincible crystal coffin and is enchanted by some sort of spell that locks her in a state of perpetual, unaging sleep for most of her existence. [1]
