Power Ritual (Lich)

A power ritual is a ritual that a lich can undertake to gain a temporary but greatly increased level of power. The ritual is risky because if failed, the ritual can backfire and create a number of nasty effects for the lich, including total eradication. The ritual is described in Van Richten's Guide to the Lich.
