A phooka is an evil outsider that resembles a horse of savage and malign intelligence, though it may pretend to be otherwise. Though usually solitary, a phooka may become a mount of a Night Lord or other evil creature it finds worthy. Although formidable on land, phookas are especially dangerous in the water, where they can drown victims and move at a swim speed equal to their land speed. They secrete acid from their hooves when they attack.^[1]
