Mr. MacPhisto

Mr. MacPhisto, formerly known as Don McFistus, is the darklord and ruler of Zooropa. Don McFistus was once a bard and twin brother of Paul McFistus. They were traveling bards who earned respect, admiration, and love through their performances. However, Don wanted more, actual power. Don made an evil pact with an unknown power, eventually merging with it to become some evil entity known as Mr. MacPhisto. Manipulating his brother into helping him topple over the king's regime, Mr. MacPhisto was able to establish rule and create a crew of his own personal enforcers, the Lemon Police. Mr. MacPhisto transformed rewarded his naive brother with some of his power, giving Paul the power of matter absorption.

Paul eventually discovered the true nature of what his brother was becoming. When Paul tried to appeal to his brother's sense of reason and refused to obey his will, Mr. MacPhisto grew paranoid, cursing Paul, murdering their family, and addicting Paul's fiance to a drug of MacPhisto's own making. These acts of evil earned MacPhisto the title of darklord of Zooropa.

Mr. MacPhisto is immortal, though he does not know this. He has been cursed with paranoia, to fear for his life for all eternity. Although Paul is thought to be dead, he lives on to forever haunt MacPhisto as the Fly.
