Modify Memory

The Modify Memory spell can have several beneficial effects in dealing with fear, horror, and madness. Modify Memory be useful in restoring memories lost to blackout or madness, though getting back all lost memories may require several applications of the spell. Modify Memory can also remove the lingering effects of fear and horror by wiping out the memories all out or altering the memories such that they are not as distressing.

In addition to its benevolent uses, Modify Memory can be used for malevolent purposes, such as causing a person to re-experience scenes instilling horror (and thus provoking Horror Saves.
