The Tales of Ravenloft short story The Judgement of abd-al-Mamat is narrated in-character by a traveler from Al-Kathos as if told to a fellow traveler along the road. This narrator is missing a hand, for he is (or was) a thief and was therefore punished for it. The narrator's name is never specified.[1]
