Mababeiu

Mababeiu is a magocracy of the worst sort. The wizards rule here with an iron fist. All nobles are wizards and considered to be well above the common man. Commoners are often thought of as dirt. As they show no magic powers they are unworthy of any respect.They have no rights at all and can be killed by a noble on a whim. Those who are able to cast spells but aren't wizards such as clerics, sorcerers or bards are of the second rank. They make up the town councils, the city gaurd etc. and can be over-ruled by the nobles at any time. They have limited rights but the law is rigged against them. However there is some protection against total oppression of their class.The island itself has less mountains than the rest and more lakes, streams and marshes. A lot of rice and fish are raised on the island and it is quite urbanized as a result. Outsiders are treated as proof of their magical ability shows. Non-casters are treated like dirt, divine casters are treated with respect and arcane casters treated best of all.The magic rating of this realm is 4 as spellcasting is common here.
