The daughter of Sir Walter McCarthy, Lucretia McCarthy is a survivor of the ghosts attacks that claimed the rest of her family. Although she survived, Lucretia was physically aged to the point of enfeeblement. Her mind was also heavily traumatized, leaving her an invalid. Sir McCarthy had her hospitalized at Seward's Sanitarium in London. The Red Death had her freed and then transformed her into a Night Hag in order to strike back at Sir McCarthy. She keeps a lair beneath the Sanitarium.[1]
