Lottie Barnes

Lottie Barnes is a minor character in Heaven's Bones. She is a woman who runs a boarding house of proper repute (at least by the local standards) in the Whitechapel neighborhood of London. From time to time, she serves as a midwife and has has expert knowledge on birth control, at least according to Dr. Sophie Huxley. Davy McPhee is her doorman.

In Heaven's Bones, Lottie Barnes seeks the help of Dr. Sophie Hunter when Lydia Dare, one of her tenants returns behaving oddly but also demonstrating even stranger anatomy as Lydia was mutilated when she was transformed into one of the Angels. Lottie Barnes' boarding house was briefly engulfed and even assaulted by the Mists shortly thereafter, though there were no severe injuries.
