The laboratory pump is a small electricity powered pump sufficient for aerating a moderate sized aquarium or a brain in a bubbling vat. The pump is an [electrical motor]], an electromagnetic device as it makes use of the principles of electromagnetic induction. It is the invention of Dr. Victor Mordenheim and there is no evidence that he has attempt to market it to others, who in any case would lack the means of powering it. He has created batteries to do so. It is unknown whether he has more than one instance of the device. A second instance and possibly more advanced (smaller, lighter, more efficient and more reliable) version of the device does, however, almost certainly exist as part the live support system of the Living Brain.
